Your contracts of employment and policies and procedures should reflect the way your business really works while staying compliant with employment law.
I tailor contracts of employment, employee handbooks, and a wide variety of HR policies and procedures such as disciplinary procedures, grievance processes, sickness absence, family friendly and other management policies.
I also carry out policy reviews to ensure your documentation is up to date and fit for purpose, reducing the risk of disputes and confusion.

From setting expectations to coaching line managers on welcome meetings, check-ins, and probation reviews, I'll help you create a process that boosts engagement and helps new hires settle in confidently and quickly.
With the changes to day one dismissal rights coming into effect as part of the Employment Rights Bill, now has never been a better time to ensure these first steps are right!
Absence can disrupt productivity and team morale, but it needs to be managed with care.
I'll work with you to spot patterns in short-term sickness absence and put clear, supportive processes in place to reduce disruption.
For long-term absence, I'll guide you through your legal responsibilities, support conversations with the employee, and help plan a safe, phased return to work wherever possible.
If this is not possible, I'll support you through the dismissal process.
