What can make a happy workplace:
Autonomy – If employees feel that they have control over what they are doing they will take responsibility for their own productivity and happiness. They feel respected and valued.
Relationships – A good way to do this is to give opportunities for employees to get to know each other without the context of the work they do.
Progress – If people feel that they are making progress towards aims that they are invested in, they are more likely to be happy.
Meaning – If people feel that the work they do has a purpose and makes a difference, they are happier and more resilient.
